Scope of Services (What DriveWise Does)

DriveWise provides vehicle verification, inspection coordination, documentation review, risk screening, market guidance, and reporting based on evidence available at the time of service.

Our services may include, depending on the package purchased:

  • Digital verification checks (ownership, documentation, VIN/chassis consistency, fraud/theft risk screening)
  • Import/history risk review where applicable and subject to availability
  • Physical inspection (PPI) based on observable condition and accessible areas
  • Market value guidance and pricing comparisons
  • Concierge coordination (viewing, negotiation support, transfer oversight, delivery coordination)
  • Aftersale case support within the purchased/covered window

DriveWise delivers findings in a written DriveWise Verified™ Report / DriveWise Certified™ Report / Fortress Dossier.

2

Important Clarification: DriveWise Is Not the Seller

DriveWise is not a dealership, does not own vehicles listed by third parties, and does not enter the vehicle sale contract between buyer and seller.

Any purchase agreement, payment, and sale transfer occurs strictly between buyer and seller/dealer, unless otherwise stated in writing by DriveWise.

3

Service Nature (Evidence-Based Reporting)

All DriveWise reports are evidence-based. No evidence = no claim.

Your report represents DriveWise's professional opinion based on:

  • information provided by the client and seller
  • accessible vehicle condition at the time of inspection
  • available databases, reference sources, and supporting documentation

Reports are time-sensitive and apply only to the vehicle and condition as observed on the inspection date.

4

Origin / Import / History Confidence Levels

Where country of origin, import data, or vehicle history is reviewed, DriveWise uses confidence levels:

Verified Origin

supported by reliable evidence

~
Inferred Origin

patterns align but proof is limited

?
Unconfirmed Origin

evidence is missing or conflicting

DriveWise does not guarantee complete history availability for all vehicles, markets, or sources.

5

What DriveWise Does Not Guarantee

DriveWise does not guarantee:

  • future mechanical reliability
  • absence of hidden/internal faults not detectable through reasonable inspection
  • future accidents, wear, component failures, or owner misuse
  • manufacturer defects or recalls
  • seller honesty beyond what evidence confirms
  • that a vehicle will meet personal preferences or expectations beyond the report scope

Important Note

A vehicle can pass verification and still develop mechanical issues later due to normal wear, maintenance history, or future damage.

6

Client Responsibilities

To receive service, you agree to:

  • provide accurate details (vehicle, seller contact, location, timeline)
  • ensure the vehicle is accessible for inspection
  • ensure seller cooperation (access, engine start, documents where needed)
  • disclose known issues, modifications, or constraints where applicable
  • not pressure DriveWise staff to change, hide, or misrepresent findings

DriveWise may pause or cancel service where access is denied or information is misleading.

7

Inspection Limitations (Physical PPI)

Physical inspections are limited to what is visible and accessible on-site, and may be affected by lighting, weather, space, safety constraints, and seller restrictions.

Unless explicitly purchased and available, DriveWise does not perform:

  • full engine teardown
  • laboratory fluid testing
  • invasive dismantling
  • guaranteed paint depth mapping on all panels
8

DriveWise Verdict Definitions

DriveWise may provide a verdict to support your decision:

BUY

acceptable risk level based on evidence

NEGOTIATE

acceptable with price adjustment or fixes

AVOID

risk is high, evidence is inconsistent, or red flags exist

The verdict is guidance, not a guarantee.

9

Dealer Plans (Subscriptions) and Usage Policy

Dealer plans are billed monthly and include a maximum number of vehicle verifications per month:

Plan Verifications per Month Aftersale Care
Dealer Shield 10 verifications 7 days
Dealer Guardian 25 verifications 30 days
Dealer Fortress 50 verifications 90 days

Exceeding the monthly limit triggers overage billing at the current overage rate. Dealer subscription counts reset monthly based on the dealer's billing cycle.

DriveWise reserves the right to pause service to any dealer account with outstanding balances or abuse of the system.

10

Aftersale Care (What It Is / What It Isn't)

Aftersale care is included under dealer plans (and/or buyer Fortress) for the stated period:

Aftersale care includes:

complaint intake, case logging, evidence collection, documentation, buyer-dealer mediation support, escalation handling, and resolution tracking.

Aftersale care does not include:

paying for repairs, replacing parts, refund guarantees, or legal representation. DriveWise's role is structured mediation and documentation support.
